Modern Tools for Traditional Genealogy: Using Records, DNA, and AI Effectively

In a departure from our usual programming, this will be live presentation and discussion. This presentation was created in 2026 for a local family reunion with the intent to introduce new generations to genealogy and bolster seasoned genealogists with new tools. It provides an easy to follow formula for growing your family tree effectively. The presentation uses examples from the Toadvine family, who came to Kansas from Maryland.

The presenter, Margaret Kline, attained a certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University in 2019 and claims to have forgotten as much as she learned. She briefly pursued life as a professional genealogist until she figured out that 'professional' wasn't as much fun as just helping out other's with their research. Now she enjoys all Manhattan has to offer and volunteers as the RCGS webmaster.
