RCGS is a qualified 501(c)(3) organization and welcomes both monetary donations and book donations for the library. Monetary gifts may be made in person at the library, by mailing a check to the RCGS library, through one of our funds at the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation, or by using the convenient online form below. Book donations may be brought directly to the RCGS Library. If you plan to donate a large number of books, we greatly appreciate advance notice so we can ensure staff is available to assist.

Past donations have played a vital role in strengthening RCGS’s ability to serve both the Society and the wider community. Thanks to this generosity, RCGS has been able to subsidize the creation and printing of Riley County historical coloring books—offered free to public educators—install interpretive plaques along the Linear Trail, maintain subscriptions to essential genealogical records repositories, and continue upgrading the RCGS Library to better support researchers. Each contribution, large or small, directly fuels projects that preserve local history and make it accessible to all.
